This article in the Des Moines Register made my day. I came to Storm Lake seven and a half years ago, and I am extremely happy and proud to be a part of this vibrant community and our exciting schools.

It reminded me of how lucky we are! We are able to connect and learn from so many wonderful cultures without having to -$ travel abroad. :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree. The experiences my kids had who lived in Storm Lake and graduated from school here were truly global. I hope we don't ever take it for granted how lucky we are.
